Customs: 3 Story Mansion, Pink Cottage, Pool and Vette


I have to admit, even I was speechless when I saw this MAMOTH custom structure. Longtime fans of the blog know the I am not a pink (pepto abysmal pink that is) enthusiast, but many of you are, so I try to include noteworthy posts involving the 1985 A Frame dollhouse. Well, this will definitely appeal to those who like pink and unrestrained decor.

And speaking of complete sugary decadence, here is a pink cottage, vette and dream pool.

    i saw this post on flickr a few months ago. i didn't know what to think either. i know your not a fan of the pink house so this house must have really been odd for you to see. its kinda cool but i think it is overstuffed. i hate to see overstuffed a-frame houses,lol. i always rearrange my house when i feel it looks like too much is going on. i do like the extra rooms though :)

    I'm also not a huge fan of the pink house, and while I like the concept, I'm not crazy about the execution. I don't like that the floors are doubled between the ground floor and second floor, and I think they should have used the awning window sides for the second floor, rather than having doors on the second floor that open into thin air. The door and vertical window sections should all be on the ground floor. Also, TOO MUCH PINK. I think this house would have looked a lot less like a cake if they had painted the floor sections white or light grey, and dialed back on the pink furniture. Even leaving the windows, doors, and roof sections pink wouldn't have been so bad if they had made that one design change. But of course, I'm always a critic, what do I know. :D

    Madfan31 and Siansonea, I agree with all of your comments. Yes its very cake like, LOL. You know they must have had to break off wall posts to make all this gel together. But yeah the double floors together don't work for me either and the vines, lets not even go there.

    Beautiful and very pink, which I love, looks perfect for a little girl who loves everything and anything pink. I'm going to try to copy this for my little girl. the vines are just extra special. I don't think it is supposed to be a show house, but a house that gets used by a little girl. that's the best use yet.
